Taking time out for ourselves and our wellbeing has never felt so important. The past (almost two) years of the Pandemic have left many people feeling more worn-down than they might otherwise have been, with a need to renew energy levels.

It’s not something that had ever occurred to me, until I talked further with Val Preston from Truly Essential, and I had a try myself.

Let me introduce you to Val.

Val and I have worked together for years, since the early days of bringing Secret Spa pamper treatments to guests of Newton Grange. I absolutely love working with Val, who is so knowledgeable and bubbly and simply excellent at what she does. It was been wonderful to see her Tai Chi journey unravel, and the growth in her business to practise Tai Chi in a number of locations in the Yorkshire area close to our cottages.
