Embsay Crag is a popular local summit a short distance from the market town of Skipton and North Yorkshire, where the effort a climb is soon rewarded by fantastic views.
Whether you decide to start your hike from the car park situated next to Embsay Reservoir (also idyllic) or in the central village car park, this is a rewarding place to go walking and bag a local summit.
What would we recommend? We walked in early November and thought that good, sturdy and waterproof footwear are absolutely essential to enjoy this expedition to the full.
