Do you know Wycoller Country Park?
When we arrived in the Trawden Road car park we asked ourselves, ‘where is the Country Park?’
We followed the road to the village by walking down the hill and later discovered that the Country Park describes much of the area around Wycoller itself.
What did we love about Wycoller?
It was new – to us, at least.
There was a stream for little ones to splash in and paddle through.
It was rustic and charming.
There was a helpful guide in the barn.
There were cute little fairy trees on the walk to the village – something we hadn’t expected, or noticed at first.
We could play hide and seek.
We walked through the Willow Creations.
We had enjoyed a morning out, having fun and exploring new places – all within a 30-35 minute drive from Bank Newton.
We may check out the different approach – via Haworth Road – next time to gain different perspectives on this lovely place.
